Few days ago, YSR Congress MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy was arrested in relation to a case during Samayikya Andhra movement. The party made severe allegations on the government resorting to harassment of opposition MLAs.

However it is emerging that Chevireddy got arrested himself. Railway Police did not care for the case in fact but Chevireddy himself called them and informed that he will get surrendered.
YSRCP MP Midhun Reddy got arrested in attacking airport official. Midhun and his father are the opinion that it was Chevireddy who over-reacted in the incident but escaped cleverly cornering the MP. Chevireddy got arrested in another case and went to jail to accompany Midhun.
