Over many years, people have accused Jagan of showing bias toward his community and failing to showcase social equality within his party.
Yesterday, Jagan held a meeting with the joint YSR Kadapa district leaders to discuss appointing the party president for the YSR and Annamayya districts.

Eventually, Jagan appointed former Kamalapuram MLA Ravindranath Reddy as the YCP president for the YSR district and Rajampet MLA Akepati Amarnath as the YCP president for the Annamayya district.
ZPTC Ramagovinda Reddy was appointed as the ZP Chairperson of the YSR district, and Naren Ramanujula Reddy was appointed as the YCP in charge of the Kamalapuram assembly constituency.

Although YCP claims that these appointments were made based on inputs from party leaders, it is quite evident that Jagan Mohan Reddy favoured members of his own ‘Reddy’ community.
Time and again, Jagan is showing favoritism toward his community leaders, despite facing significant backlash from the general public.
