Five-year-old Prisha Lokesh Nikajoo, hailing from Thane, Maharashtra, became the youngest mountaineer to reach the base camp of the world’s tallest peak. Accompanied by her mountaineer father, Lokesh Nikajoo, Prisha scaled a breathtaking height of 17,598 feet (5,364 meters). To prepare for this monumental feat, Prisha diligently trained by walking eight to nine kilometers daily, attending aerobics classes, and scaling the walls of her garden. This young trailblazer has already proved her mettle by conquering the Kalsubai summit, the highest peak in Maharashtra.

Arishka Laddha, a six-year-old resident of Pune, also etched her name in the annals of mountaineering history. In just 15 days, Arishka scaled the treacherous Mt Everest base camp, situated at an altitude of over 17,500 feet. Wearing multiple layers of clothing, she braved the harsh conditions and exemplified immense strength and resilience.
