Most of us might get terrified in stressful situations like a claustrophobic place such as a closed lift. However, in a recent incident from Faridabad, a boy managed to remain calm when caught in a lift, instead of succumbing to distress.
The incident occurred in a housing society where the boy was on his way to tuition. Normally, his mother would drop him off, but unfortunately, she was unwell that day. Consequently, the boy entered the elevator alone. When the lift reached the 2nd floor, it abruptly came to a halt, causing the boy to become terrified. He initially attempted to alleviate his fear by banging on the door, but realizing the futility of this effort and understanding that he would have to wait until the lift was manually opened, he settled down.
While most people might have panicked in such a situation, this young boy adopted an innovative approach to remain composed. He decided to work on his homework as he waited inside the lift. After two hours had passed, and the lift was finally opened, those outside were relieved to find the boy in a calm and stable condition.
Upon sharing the story of how he had tackled the situation by focusing on his homework, the news spread, and people began commending him for his ingenious idea. This incident serves as a testament to how quick thinking can be advantageous in challenging circumstances.
