Chris Gayle released “Oh Fatima” with singer-composer Arko Pravo Mukherjee. Gayle said he wanted to sing and dance with Deepika Padukone at the music video premiere. He met Deepika and said she was pleasant. Gayle’s song “Oh Fatima” mixes Jamaican and Indian melodies and is bright and vivacious. The Rammjii Gulatii-directed song video features Uzbekistan singer Karina Karra.
Gayle said the COVID-19 lockout inspired him to write music. They recorded a song when a buddy recommended it. Gayle was thrilled when Jamaicans liked the song. Encouraged by this reception, he recorded another song and finally built up his own home studio, collaborating with numerous artists.
Virat Kohli, the former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain, just broke Gayle’s IPL record. Kohli surpassed Gayle’s six league hundreds. Gayle played for Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings.
