It’s not a cricket match, nor a huge sports event, nor the Big Boss finale event, but ISRO indeed bound Indians together throughout the globe. Social media platforms are flooded with celebrations of Chandrayaan-3’s landing, and there are a few tweets that are making the nation feel more united today.
Now, with historical moments like this, foreign embassies play a big part in organizing these sorts of events. And when it comes to the US, they already host a fair number of Indians, so it was expected to have a festive essence over there.
A couple of photos have been tweeted from the embassy in Washington DC, resulting in a proud moment. The whole embassy was seen glued to their screens, even as early as 7 am.
The event turned out to be a great success as the celebrations were amplified after the successful landing. A minor tension was building after Russia’s failure in a similar mission, but this time, India rose and placed the flag on the moon.
Even the Embassy shares certain videos of sweets being distributed after the humongous achievement by ISRO. It is the nation’s time to celebrate; India did it and did it without any flaws. This event will now escalate several space missions and help the nation become a strong competitor in terms of space exploration.
