Trusting her, the soldier agreed to meet. During the meeting, her associates Sadhna Gupta and Vijay Tilware allegedly recorded private moments without his knowledge.

The accused then demanded Rs 2 lakh and threatened to leak the videos. Instead of panicking, the soldier acted wisely and approached the police.

Police responded quickly and arrested the accused. Further investigation into the case is currently underway.

In recent times, several honeytrap incidents have been reported. Despite awareness through news and social media, many people continue to fall into such traps.

This case also highlights how anyone can be targeted. Even trained professionals like army personnel are not immune to such schemes.

One notable aspect is the soldier’s response. He did not hesitate or fear social judgement. Instead, he chose to report the crime immediately.

His action helped prevent further damage and ensured that the accused were caught. Such responsible behaviour deserves recognition.

This incident serves as a strong warning. People must stay cautious while interacting with strangers online and avoid trusting unknown individuals too easily.
