LinkedIn marriage trend goes viral online

A Mumbai-based CEO has found a unique way to search for love online. Shubham Gune, the CEO and founder of Hinglish, took his wedding proposal to LinkedIn, hoping the professional network could help him find his life partner.

In true entrepreneurial style, Shubham shared a post saying he had tried every social media platform to meet someone, so he wanted to give LinkedIn a final shot. Instead of “open to work,” he updated his profile tag to “open to marry.”

Soon after, LinkedIn saw more users joining the fun. People began adding creative tags like “open to situationship,” “open to break up,” and “open to long-distance.” The platform has since turned into a playful space where professionalism meets comedy.
