A post has been going viral on the internet which claims that a 12 year old boy was beaten up by his father after he discovered an application named X on his phone. The man later found out that what he saw was Twitter’s new logo. Netizens can’t stop laughing at the post and are asking Elon Musk what he has done.
On investigation it was found that the news is completely fake and the incident is probably a made up joke. Users are making fun of the fake incident and adding hilarious comments to the post. Some take a sigh of relief that it’s only X and not XXX. Others want Elon Musk to justify the move and give justice to the boy.
Musk himself has been aware of the controversy around the rebranding and he even participated in it with a number of cryptic tweets in which he is embracing the change as well as the alleged association of the symbol X with dubious sites.
