A shocking report is coming from Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh where a 25 year old woman has illicit relationship with a 16 year old minor. It is being reported that Khyati Vishwakarma was in a love marriage and having an extramarital affair with a minor through social media.
She had known a young boy even before her marriage and started emotionally blackmailing him for sexual favours after her marriage. Khyati used to call him to the hotel and make him have sex with her by emotionally stressing the minor.
The minor kept up with this torture for a while but ultimately felt so sick that he has to report it to the police. The police took immediate action against Khyati under the POCSO Act and arrested her.
Currently she is arrested on judicial remand and her case will be heard soon, until then she will remain in custody. The mental stress over the boy after this crime against him seems unimaginable and netizens who are coming across this news hope that he is getting help from medical experts.
Many also raised the question that the perpetrator can be anyone in today’s day and age. Generally, we focus on protecting young girls from men but one needs to be careful of young boys too.
Social media was where the two got in touch and later became close. It was easy for Khyati to manipulate the young boy using social media, many advised parents to keep a check on their kids social media activities.
