A 32-year-old chartered accountant from Mumbai, identified as Raj, has died by suicide after allegedly being blackmailed and mentally harassed over a private video.
In a three-page suicide note, Raj named Saba Qureshi and Rahul Paranwani, accusing them of emotionally tormenting him and pushing him toward this step.
As per reports, Raj met Saba through social media, and their friendship turned into a personal relationship. During this period, Saba and Rahul reportedly recorded intimate moments without his knowledge.
The two allegedly used this footage to demand ₹3 crore, threatening to leak the video online if he didn’t comply.
Things reportedly worsened when they visited his home and behaved in a way that left him deeply disturbed in front of his family.
The emotional pressure, humiliation, and sense of helplessness described in Raj’s note paint a heartbreaking picture of what he was going through.
Police have now filed an FIR against Saba Qureshi and Rahul Paranwani, and an investigation is ongoing.
