A serious crime that has taken place in Nagpur has left the entire country shocked.
An IPS officer’s nephew has been reportedly accused of raping and torturing a minor for almost 24 hours inside a rented room.
Initially, the accused befriended the 16-year-old girl on Instagram under a fake name called Akash Mehra.
However, his real name is Nirmay Madhav Pakhare, and is the son of a couple who are both doctors by profession.
The BBA student was from Thane and allegedly lured the class 12 girl to a rented flat in Dighori, where he held her captive for over 24 hours.
Reports also state that the accused forced her to eat chocolates laced with drugs before repeatedly assaulting and slashing her with a knife.
He had also been blackmailing the minor for several months while threatening to leak her intimate photos online.
Officers were shocked when they entered the flat because the accused was standing with a belt in his hand while the girl was tied up.
The police were also able to find multiple items from the flat that showcase the heinous crime that he committed.
These include some sex-enhancing pills and sprays, handcuffs, three knives, a nylon rope, and a metal-studded leather belt.
This also suggests that it was a planned assault.
What’s more shocking is that the accused is demanding a lot of things after his arrest. He reportedly wants a soft bed and pizza while expecting VIP comfort inside the lockup.
Now, it is yet to be seen how the law sees this and punishes the guilty with the strictest sentence possible.
