Climbing trees is not an area of human excellence; it is a forte of monkeys, and the crown should be kept with them. If we, as humans, attempt to compete with them, we might not just find ourselves in trouble but it can also lead us in potentially embarrassing situations. One such incident occurred where a man’s attempt to perform a miracle to impress people led him to the hospital.
The incident took place in Meerut, where a priest, in an attempt to demonstrate a miracle, climbed a eucalyptus tree. As he ascended to the canopy of the tree, it caused the tree to sway significantly. Consequently, the priest lost his balance, resulting in the breaking of a tree branch. Both the priest and the branch fell onto a fast food shop from a height of over 20 feet. The fall caused severe pain to the priest, who couldn’t endure it and burst into tears. Onlookers who had gathered at the scene promptly took him to the hospital for immediate treatment.
The entire incident was captured on camera and subsequently went viral on various social media platforms. The incident serves as a reminder that even in 2023, people are willing to go to great lengths to make others believe in miracles or “chamatkar.” Although the man is now out of danger, it can still be used as a powerful example of not exceeding one’s limits.
