Make Me Pregnant: Adult Romantic Ad or Cyber Trap?

Pune cyber fraud investigation team

The internet often blurs the line between curiosity and danger. What looks like a random adult advertisement can turn out to be a cyber trap designed to drain your money. A shocking case from Pune has once again exposed this growing menace.

An online ad reading “Mujhe Pregnant Karo” caught a man’s attention and quickly pulled him into a scam. The so-called offer was part of a large cyber racket that uses adult-themed ads to lure people before extorting money through fake registration and privacy fees.

In this case, the victim lost nearly 11 lakh rupees after trusting fraudsters who claimed to run a “Pregnant Job” or “Playboy Service”. Police in Pune said this network operates through multiple online identities, targeting users who respond to such posts.

Investigators are now tracing digital footprints to find those behind these fake portals. Officers said the scam is psychological, not technical—it manipulates emotion, curiosity, and embarrassment instead of hacking data or devices.

The case is a warning for you to stay cautious online. Every click carries a risk, and not every ad deserves attention. In today’s digital world, a single mistake can cost you your peace, privacy, and savings.
