A video of a Malaysian guy getting caught in a waterslide has gone viral. The TikTok video, which has over 43 million views, shows the man, identified as Jami, entering the slide through a trap door and beginning his exhilarating drop.
Everything appears to be going well initially as Jami navigates the winding slide. However, around halfway down, he comes to a standstill before resuming his speed. He attempts to crawl down the tiny corridor, clearly scared, anxiously pleading for aid.
Fortunately, his cries are answered as a concerned park employee breaks up the top section of the slide to save Jami. According to the TikTok video, the event occurred at the Penang Escape Theme Park in Malaysia’s Southwest Penang Island District. The video elicited a combination of anxiety and laughter from viewers.
“You can see he was panicking,” one person said, while another joked, “New fear unlocked.” Some thought that the man’s attire, particularly his track pants, may have led to the abrupt halt. Jami accepted the remark, saying, “Lesson learned.”
While Jami’s experience was undoubtedly nerve-racking, his misadventure has captivated millions of viewers and stirred debates about waterpark safety and clothing choices.
