Hyderabad witnessed a touching moment during the first day of the Khairatabad Ganesh festival. A woman named Reshma gave birth as the puja was being held.

She was rushed to a nearby community health centre, where she safely delivered a healthy baby. The news brought joy to the crowd and was seen as a divine blessing.
Many present believed it was Lord Ganesha’s blessing that the baby arrived at such a sacred moment. Devotees called the birth a rare and symbolic event.
Reshma’s family later said they would name the child after Lord Ganesha, in gratitude and faith. Both the mother and baby are in good health.
