A Marathi band added energy to the celebrations, filling the occasion with devotion and music. Locals were delighted to witness Ganapati’s arrival in Khairatabad on August 27, ahead of the main festival.

Ganapati agaman is regarded as an auspicious ritual where Lord Ganesha is brought to the pandal or home with prayers, music, and dance. It marks the beginning of the festive spirit and devotion.

In Hyderabad, the ritual was once modest, but over the years it has grown into a grand affair. With the city’s cosmopolitan culture, more devotees now join the pre-festivities, making the agaman a vibrant celebration.
