While Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is making headlines with India A in Sri Lanka, his younger brother Aashirwad Sooryavanshi has also caught attention with an impressive performance in Bihar.
The 10 year old scored 103 runs from 87 balls in a local practice match while representing Cricket Academy Tajpur in Samastipur.
His innings included 20 fours and one six and helped his team post 234/4 in 29.5 overs.
The young batter’s knock quickly became a talking point among fans. Vaibhav, who is currently playing for India A in the Tri-Nation A Series in Sri Lanka, congratulated his brother by sharing the scorecard on his Instagram Story.
Aashirwad’s century comes at a time when Vaibhav’s career is moving forward rapidly.
Vaibhav enjoyed a remarkable IPL 2026 season, finishing as the tournament’s highest run scorer with 776 runs and winning several individual awards.
His performances earned him a place in India’s T20I squad for the upcoming tours of Ireland and England. He has also been named in India’s Asian Games squad.
Comparisons between brothers at such an early stage can be difficult and may not be fair.
Aashirwad is still very young and has a long way to go in his cricket journey. Despite, his century has certainly given fans another reason to keep an eye on the Sooryavanshi family.
For now, it is only one innings in a practice match, but it has added to the growing excitement around a family that is already producing cricketing talent.
