
Birmingham and Indian cricket have had a bitter relationship at best when it comes to counting the number of wins.

With such a poor track record, this youthful team led by Captain Shubman Gill will look to break that spell, aiming to clinch victory from the jaws of defeat where no other Indian captain could, just like Virat Kohli did at Gabba back in 2021.
With the 2nd test match scheduled to begin on July 2nd, Shubman Gill will have to ensure that each and every member of the playing XI gives their best performance.

Otherwise, we may come back to the point where despite several good performances, the Indian team lost to the English side due to a lack of team effort both in terms of fielding and bowling.
