The potential inclusion of Kuldeep Yadav and Dhruv Jurel into the Indian squad for the 2nd test match against England has been sitting in the minds of the public.
Seeing the pitiful state of the Indian bowling attack as well as the inability of the middle order and tail to save their wickets, many are wondering whether Kuldeep and Dhruv could turn things around, giving India the push it so desperately needs.
Kuldeep and Dhruv’s fabulous performance against England in 2024 seems to be the main reasoning behind this logic.
Kuldeep took a total of 19 wickets in 4 test matches, even getting awarded with the ‘Player of the Match’ due to his performance at Dharamsala.
But all that shines is not gold. Many have duly pointed out the stark difference between pitch conditions in India and England, while some have also suggested that Nitish Reddy could be a much better choice due to his experience against the Aussies in BGT 2024.
It will be interesting to see if any of these arguments amount to any value as India gears up to face England in the 2nd test, scheduled to be held from 2nd July.
