A video clip featuring Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Harsha Bhogle has gone viral on social media. The clip appeared to show the young Rajasthan Royals batter making negative remarks about Virat Kohli, triggering widespread discussions among cricket fans.
As the video gained traction online, many users began sharing and reacting to the content. However, Harsha Bhogle has stepped forward to clarify the matter and dismiss the claims made in the viral clip.
According to Harsha Bhogle, the video was edited and does not reflect any real conversation. He stated that neither the question nor the answer shown in the clip was genuine. Bhogle also confirmed that he never asked Sooryavanshi the question featured in the edited video.
Taking to X, Harsha Bhogle said the clip unfairly portrays Sooryavanshi as arrogant and disrespectful. He stressed that the youngster has always been polite and respectful during his interactions and warned that such manipulated content can harm a player’s reputation.
Several similar versions of the clip have also surfaced on social media platforms. Most of these videos attempt to present Sooryavanshi in a negative light, despite the absence of any evidence that he made the comments attributed to him.
In reality, Sooryavanshi and Virat Kohli are understood to share a positive relationship. Following the IPL 2026 final, Kohli reportedly congratulated the young batter for his impressive performances throughout the season.
Harsha Bhogle’s clarification has helped address the confusion surrounding the viral video. The episode serves as an important reminder for social media users to verify information before accepting or sharing content that may be misleading or manipulated.
