Prasidh Krishna’s brilliant performance in the IPL has led to him getting selected for the red-ball series between India and England without a doubt.
However, it seems like GG’s IPL model for red-ball is failing drastically as more and more IPL talents are starting to fade when they enter the ground in whites.
The same is true for Prasidh. While he may be a magnificent bowler in the T20 format, his inexperience with the red ball is completely exposed as he struggles to both take wickets and stop the leakage of runs.
With such a poor display of bowling, GG’s preferences in red-ball have been proven disastrous time and again.
It will be interesting to see if multiple poor performances from Prasidh will ultimately lead to swords being drawn towards Gambhir, giving Prasidh one big wicket in the form of his coach.
