Ever since the IPL of 2025, Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s name has been on the tip of the tongue of every cricket fan in the country as well as around the globe.
Vaibhav seems to be holding pretty well for himself, as he continues to score for India U19 as well, contributing 48 and 45 with the bat in both ODI matches against England U19.
This has led to him gaining even more popularity, more than he can possibly handle at this age.
After all, he is still a child trying to figure out life. People should definitely come forward to praise talent. But Vaibhav needs to practice self-control and not let this praise get to his head.
Even the public should learn to restrain their words, as an excess of praise at this age can lead to any player taking things for granted.
If things don’t change for the better, the formation of a second Prithvi Shaw may happen much sooner than we would like to think.
