Sunrisers Hyderabad have made a rather sedate start to the ongoing season of IPL by winning 1 out of the 3 games played so far. But the encouraging thing is the firing middle order, headed by Heinrich Klaasen who has been in red hot form.
The game against KKR ran close as SRH fumbled in the last second from a winning position. In the next game against Mumbai Indians, the Hyderabad side played the greatest batting innings in the history of the IPL.
For SRH to have a fair shot at winning the title, the team must show resilience against champion sides. They have shown this already against Mumbai Indians and will be facing another champion side in Chennai Super Kings tomorrow, April 5th.
The game against CSK tomorrow will show if SRH actually has the side and mindset to be a champion side. If the team’s spirit and performance are as good as what was seen in the game against Mumbai, then it shows that Hyderabad is a force to reckon with, or else, it could be another season of pain and agony for fans.
The all-important game against Chennai is being played in Hyderabad tomorrow and another beautiful batting track is expected here. This game could potentially be the decider of SRH’s title chances.
