20 Crore Star? Former Star’s Big Warning For India

Blessing Muzarabani bowling

Defending champions India finished the group stage without losing a single match. But just before the Super 8 stage, a strong warning has come from former cricketer Mohammad Kaif, who believes Zimbabwe fast bowler Muzarabani has the ability to trouble Team India.

India won all four group matches but did not look flawless. The batting unit struggled in key moments. Abhishek Sharma is yet to open his account and has recorded three consecutive ducks.

Rinku Singh has also failed to make a strong impact so far. India even faced a scare against the Netherlands, which exposed certain weaknesses. These issues could become bigger concerns in the Super 8 stage.

On the other hand, Muzarabani has emerged as one of the standout bowlers of the tournament. The tall pacer has delivered consistent performances. He played a key role in Zimbabwe’s wins over Australia and Sri Lanka.

Kaif praised the Zimbabwe fast bowler on his YouTube channel. He said Muzarabani can bowl effectively in all phases of the game. His height and bounce make him a serious threat.

Kaif even suggested that IPL teams would have spent huge money on him if the auction had taken place after the World Cup. According to him, Muzarabani could have earned at least Rs 20 crore based on his current form.

India will begin their Super 8 campaign against South Africa on February 22 in Ahmedabad. They will then face Zimbabwe on February 26 in Chennai and West Indies on March 1 in Kolkata. With Muzarabani in top rhythm, India will need to stay alert.
