There is no doubt about Rishabh Pant’s talent when it comes to red-ball cricket. The young vice-captain has already made his name in the England tour with two 100s to show for himself right in the 1st test match.
With this, Pant now sits at 5 centuries in England, equal to that of Virat Kohli. If he continues to play like this, he will surpass Virat by just hitting one more hundred with his bat.
Not only that, if things go his way, he may even surpass Rahul Dravid, who currently holds the record of most tons in England by an Indian, the exact number being 6.
With Pant in such a form, it is highly likely that this tour will become the one where he shatters all these records at once.
It’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for this bright cricketing talent as India transitions into its new rejuvenated test team.
