Mohammed Siraj and Akashdeep have proven that they can step up their game when it comes to making sure that India wins a crucial game, even with the absence of Jasprit Bumrah.
With Bumrah now set to return for the 3rd test, both these pacers, especially Siraj, have to ensure that they are able to replicate this performance in that match as well.
Bumrah will need someone like Siraj to stand firmly by his side and take wickets alongside him while managing a firm hold over the leakage of runs.
This means that Siraj will have to repeat the Magic at Lord’s; otherwise, however magnificent the bowling spell, it will only be considered as a one-off in the history of cricket.
With the battle set to start from 10th July, it will be interesting to see if the Indian pace attack can maintain its composure to give us a lead over the English.
