
Team India seems to be leaving no stone unturned when it comes to practising for the 2nd test match against England.
A few videos from the practice sessions have gone viral, where players like Karun Nair, Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill can be seen practising catching at slip positions.

While Yashasvi Jaiswal has now been removed from that position, the question still remains regarding the management’s prior knowledge of Jaiswal’s catching skills.
It’s not like Yashasvi woke up one day and chose to drop catches. The signs must have been present long ago. That points a huge finger of negligence at the management, who chose to ‘go with the flow’, ignoring all the warning signs.

This ultimately cost us a test match that we were almost destined to win. It crushed the team’s morale and put the team in a stressful position which we would now have to recover from.
All in all, the management should take note of such problems beforehand to ensure that we don’t jump into action once the damage has already been done.
