Deputy CM Son’s Big Debut? Nepotism in Full Swing

Inban Udhayanidhi debut under Mari Selvaraj

Rumours are circulating online that Udhayanidhi Stalin’s son, Inban Udhayanidhi, will make his acting debut under director Mari Selvaraj. The talk has caught strong attention on social media and among Kollywood fans, sparking debates and reactions everywhere.

Reports claim Mari Selvaraj’s next film after Bison will feature Inban in the lead. Bison is set for a worldwide release on October 17, and the new project is said to follow immediately after. However, no official statement has been released.

You can see mixed reactions online. Some people believe this is expected, saying nepotism is normal in the film industry. Others accuse Mari Selvaraj of becoming “Kollywood’s Karan Johar”, pointing out that Bison already stars Dhruv Vikram, son of Vikram.

Meanwhile, opposition members have criticised the DMK, claiming the party is preparing Inban Udhayanidhi for leadership. They say his father followed a similar route first handling Red Giants, then acting, entering politics, and becoming Deputy Chief Minister with support from M.K. Stalin.

Following that pattern, Inban recently took over Red Giants and began distributing films, starting with Dhanush’s Idli Kadai. According to political voices, acting is the next step before entering politics. These claims continue to create heated discussions online.

As of now, neither Mari Selvaraj nor the Stalin family has made any official announcement. You’ll have to wait to see whether Inban Udhayanidhi truly makes his acting debut in Kollywood under Mari Selvaraj’s direction.
