Following the back to back failures of Pallichattambi and Idhayam Murali, sensational actress Kayadu Lohar is returning with two releases this week, which are the highly anticipated Malayalam film I’m Game, releasing on September 3rd and the Tamil film Immortal, releasing on September 4th.
While both films are releasing at almost the same time, Kayadu Lohar is only participating in the promotions for I’m Game alongside Dulquer Salmaan, whereas for Immortal, only GV Prakash is promoting the movie through events and interviews.
Although many people did not speak about this in the beginning, the pre-release event for Immortal recently took place in Chennai and everyone involved in the film attended. Surprisingly, however, Kayadu Lohar did not attend the main pre-release event.
After the event, many thought Kayadu Lohar might have had an emergency that prevented her from attending. However, she surprisingly attended the pre-release event for I’m Game in Kerala today.
Consequently, many people started criticizing Kayadu Lohar claiming that she is biased and only prioritizing I’m Game because of the size of the film and Dulquer Salmaan’s presence. They feel she does not care about the release of Immortal at all.
Meanwhile, in response to these criticisms, some Kollywood trackers noted that Immortal was Kayadu Lohar’s first Tamil film, which she signed even before committing to Dragon, the movie that brought her massive recognition.
They noted that when she signed Immortal, she was not a well-known name, but today she has become a popular actress. Hence, they feel that neglecting the pre-release event of the film that gave her an early opportunity is disappointing and appears biased. They suggest she should have shown professionalism and gratitude to the makers who gave her that first chance.
Ultimately, Kayadu Lohar is now facing severe backlash from netizens for promoting only I’m Game and skipping the promotional events for Immortal.
