One of the richest persons and the biggest philanthropist, Bill Gates, has recently revealed who according to him is the greatest science writer of our era.

Bill’s favourite writer who left a huge impact on him is an Indian American named Siddhartha Mukherjee. According to Bill, his latest work, The Song Of The Cell is a masterpiece. Siddhartha is a Pulitzer prize winning author and a practicing oncologist.

Bill Gates revealed his earlier aversion towards biology as a child and talked about how he felt that the study of it is completely irrelevant for him. He also said that if he had access to Mukherjee’s book when he was in school, he would have had a deeper understanding of the subject.

Mukherjee’s The Song Of The Cell is a detailed account of the intricate functioning of cells and their role as the basis of life. Stem Cell Transplantation is a major part of the book.
