There were many things which went wrong at the Paris Olympics 2024. While we can blame the authorities for a bunch of them, there are a few for which we are collectively responsible as a society. Of all the things we can be shameful about, calling a woman boxer ‘man’ is definitely one of the worst. Imane Khelif has won the gold medal. Now she is going to fight for justice. She wants to take on those who attacked her and turned her into a global villain.

Imane Khelif of Algeria has resorted to suing Elon Musk and JK Rowling for cyberbullying. They were the ones who openly attacked her gender identity and even called her a ‘man’. What followed was more than disastrous as millions of ignorant people joined in and protested her participation in the game.
A complaint was filed in Paris and the ones to be prosecuted include names which makes this a very important prosecution that the world would have their eyes on. Former US president Donald Trump is also likely to be investigated as he tweeted about her and called her a ‘man transitioned into a boxer’ at a rally.

Imane is a biological female and has always been one. Her dignity has been compromised because of these celebrities who won’t mind doing anything to push their transphobic agenda. They might even get away with whatever they did but the damage done to the athlete can never be undone.
There’s a global anti-woke rising happening and this movement is not very clear with what it actually wants. They probably don’t want trans people to participate in women’s sports but now it looks like they don’t even want women there.
