YouTube personality Sara Gonzales, known for conducting H-1B investigations, has uncovered a serious fraud. Nagarjuna Reddy Sakam, owner of Great America Technologies, sponsored over 30 H-1B visas from a shell address.
The business, officially located in Plano, Texas, is actually non-existent. Despite not being real, Sakam kept sponsoring H-1B visas, and leaving the employees unpaid.
Records show that the company received two Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) totalling $266,000. These funds were likely taken by Sakam himself, while his employees remained without pay.
Gonzales contacted an IT professional with 16 years of experience, who was sponsored by Sakam. He said that he was forced to borrow $6,000 for USCIS and attorney fees.
A cost which the employer is supposed to cover. After joining the company in January 2024, he did not receive any salary for six months.
Leaving him in deep debt and $100,000 of unpaid wages. He was unable to afford treatment for his father, who passed away as a result in February 2025.
The employee was also blocked and had his H-1B revoked after he confronted Sakam, who threatened to report him to ICE.
Gonzales reports that these consultancies act as predatory middle-men. They take the majority of the client’s money, while H-1B workers receive nothing.
Gonzales reports that Sakam has fled to India. In her video, his house is shown to be up for sale.
