It is not just Trump and Harris who are going to battle it out for the elections in November. Forces backing the leaders are also in the battleground and they are fighting it out as soldiers for their leaders. Among the most prominent of these soldiers is Elon Musk, whose influence and wealth although ranks him much higher than a soldier.
Indian origin businessman Vinod Khosla and Elon Musk were recently in a war of words on X. The two expressed what they feel about the nominees and it turned into a very heated debate. Vinod expressed that the democrats should nominate a more moderate candidate to fight against Trump.
Elon Musk jumped on the post and endorsed Trump and JD Vance. To this Vinod replied and accused Trump of a number of things. He said, “Hard for me to support someone with no values, lies, cheats, rapes, demeans women, hates immigrants like me.”
Musk came in defense of Trump and said he doesn’t hate him. The country seems quite divided at the moment and finding common ground is difficult. For Musk, it is ironic that he supports Trump’s anti-immigrant policies, himself coming from an immigrant family. Maybe it is only the poor immigrants he has a problem with and maybe that’s why Trump would not hate someone like Vinod Khosla.
