FBI Director Christopher Wray has appointed Shohini Sinha as the special agent in charge of the Salt Lake City Field Office. She has a lauded career in counterterrorism and cyber intrusion investigations.
Ms. Sinha’s journey with the FBI began in 2001 when she joined as a special agent and was assigned to the Milwaukee Field Office. In 2009, she was promoted to supervisory special agent.
With each promotion, her responsibilities expanded, and she demonstrated her versatility in handling complex assignments. She has also served in Canada.
Before joining the FBI, Ms. Sinha worked as a therapist and administrator in a private clinic in Lafayette, Indiana. Her academic background, including a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Purdue University in Indiana, provided a solid foundation for her future endeavors in law enforcement.
It is great to see Indian American community doing well in the states. There are 4 people from the Indian origin community running for the Presidential race, let’s wait to see how things turn out.
