According to police, Vijay Kumar, aged 51, allegedly shot his wife Meenu Dogra, aged 43, along with three relatives. The victims included Gourav Cumar, aged 33, Nidhi Chander, aged 37, and Harish Chander, aged 38. All were residents of Lawrenceville, and the shooting occurred at a home on Brook Ivy Court.

Police said the argument began earlier at the couple’s Atlanta home. You need to note that the family then travelled to the Brook Ivy Court residence with a 12 year old child. The dispute escalated there and ended in a deadly shooting.

Three other children aged 7, 10, and 12 were inside the house at the time. While the adults were shot, the children hid inside a closet. Amid the gunfire, the 12 year old called 911, and officers could hear shots during the call.

When police arrived, all four adults were found dead from gunshot wounds. The children were located soon after and were physically unharmed. Authorities confirmed that no other individuals were injured during the incident.

Vijay Kumar has been taken into custody and faces multiple charges. These include four counts of malice murder, four counts of felony murder, four counts of aggravated assault, and several counts related to cruelty to children.
