Indian Family Tragic Death

A tragic death of a whole family occurred in Pleasanton. On Wednesday night the family was coming back from a birthday party, at around 9 PM on Foothill Road near Stoneridge Drive the family’s car hit a large tree and immediately caught on fire resulting in the death of four people, a mother, a father and two of their sons.

The two children were students within the Pleasanton Unified School District, but the authority is not disclosing the identity of those two children. According to them, the death of a family, who are so intricately connected with the school authority, affects the life of the other students, staff and the families related to them.

The investigators are suspecting whether speed was the issue of this tragic crash or not. At the crash site, a metal pole was knocked down alongside what appeared to be charred soil.

Similar accident took place in Foothill Road nearly 5 years ago, on Christmas night, three teenagers lost control of their car, resulting in it hitting a pole and then a tree.

This new accident left the community in shock as they all are mourning about their grave loss.

School district officials said extra support will be available to students and staff through the rest of the week.

Pleasanton police are notifying the extended family members of the victims.

At this time, authorities are not releasing the names of the victims.

Anjali Maski said she was really close to the family and the kids who were killed in this accident, she said, “ “We are lost. We don’t know what to do, what to talk about, how to take in the entire thing, We were devastated.”

The family’s extended family have been reported and on the weekends they are flying from India.

The tree that the family’s vehicle slammed into was decked with flowers and candles, alongside a message from the community, which says, “Rest in love, May your family find peace.”
