A disgraceful news has come from Singapore where a Doctor of Indian origin has been accused of molesting a woman at the Marina Bay Sands.
The incident took place at 3 am on 25 June. A total of six men have been charged in the incident. Dheeraj Prem Khiatani, the doctor and director at several firms, is one of them too.
Dheeraj’s case has been adjourned till 25 October. The other men charged are Hardiran Singh Randhawa, Melvinder Singh Gurmit Singh, Butt Muhammad Abdullah, Spencer Tan Peng Chua and Wang Shitao.
Some of these men had been charged with molestation and assaults in the past too. Tan had been charged in 2022 for allegedly striking a woman’s face with his elbow.
Wang, Hardiran, Melvinder and Butt have been accused of molestation on more than one account.
