If you are living in America, are you actually having a great prosperous life which everyone thinks of? The reality says something else.
According to a survey in the year 2022 there were 2.3 million Asian people, who were living in poverty. The portrayal of the perfect American Dream in movies and series might not come close to reality if we closely check the statistics.
Furthermore, the analysis of data from the US Census Bureau proved that Indian Americans are doing far more better than Asian Americans.
The main problem faced by Asian Americans is fluency in English. Among children between the ages of 5-7 they don’t know how to speak English properly. In comparison, 61% of immigrants above the poverty line are good at English.
The survey also showed that, the age group from 25 to older ones the rate of under graduation is more than half of it. But, still they are living in poverty.
To conclude, Asian adults in the state of poverty are less likely to own homes compared to those above the poverty line, with 40% vs 71% poverty rate.
