Rising housing costs, job market pressures, and social unrest are leading to stricter regulations.

The US, along with other Western nations like Canada and Australia, has imposed tougher visa requirements and higher costs, resulting in more visa denials and difficulties for students to remain long-term.

These new policies are partly due to concerns about the impact of international students on local housing markets and job opportunities.

In the US, there are growing worries that international students contribute to high housing costs, although these issues are more related to supply shortages than to the students themselves.

The shift in policy could have serious consequences. A decrease in visa applications from Indian students might lead to significant financial losses and a shortage of skilled workers in these countries.

Currently, visa applications are on the rise, but if challenges for Indian students continue to grow, they may start considering other options.

At the same time, other countries like Taiwan, Israel, and South Korea are becoming more attractive options for Indian students.
