The 2019 electoral result, and the subsequent arrival of the Jagan government in Andhra Pradesh created tremors not just politically but also beyond that. The TDP and Janasena faced existence crisis in this period.

But the good thing was that these two parties held their ground and waited for the perfect opportunity, which presented before the 2024 election when Jagan arrested Babu. This formulated the NDA alliance, which ultimately rose to power in 2024.

Second term of the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh has been nothing short of exemplary with regard to stability and public outreach.

Several crucial programs like the reigniting of Amaravati capital project, inviting investments to the state including Google and TCS, cancelation of sand and liquor policies were put in motion.

Two main factors that are taken with top priority by the current government is the implementation of the pension program and the Anna canteen program which feeds thousands and lakhs of people each meal.

This has been a tale of resilience and fightback from both Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan, who faced extreme pressure under the Jagan rule for five years. At the end of the day, they were persistent with their efforts and were confident that the people of AP would recognise what is what which turned out to be in their favour.

Storming back to power in the most resounding manner was just one half of the story, and the most important half was to bring Andhra Pradesh back on track. This is precisely where a seasoned campaigner like Chandrababu and a robust leader like Pawan Kalyan are able to gel together. The support of the NDA government at the central level is anyway going to be there.

There are certain minor cracks within the alliance that are to be dealt with and we can expect the top leadership to look into this correspondingly. At the end of the day, Kalyan and Chandrababu are committed to upholding this sanctity of the alliance and that’s what matters the most.
