The year 2024 has been disastrous and unfortunate for many Indian nationals and Indian Americans living in the USA. We have witnessed a large number of them getting killed in different incidents with little to no justice given to their family members. An Indian national was shot dead on the 21st of June 2024 in a grocery store in Delaware. The police have finally arrested him and he is being put on trial.
The 32 year old deceased hailed from Andhra Pradesh and he had moved to the US only 8 months back. The suspect fired multiple rounds at him including his head. The suspect was initially charged with robbery but after the death of the victim, he was also charged with capital murder.
The suspect is only 21 years old and currently in jail. The court has set the bail amount at $7.5 million. It is shocking to see how regular such fatal shootings are becoming in the country. The United States has no intention of putting any curb on gun use and the citizens and even foreign nationals are paying for it.
This was not the only case against the suspect. He is already facing charges for killing another 60 year old in Waco City just the day before.
