However, what if this very love turns into such malice that the mother decides to kill the very human she birthed? Yes, it would make people’s hearts shiver and it has been likely in the case of an Indian origin British woman.
Jaskirat Kaur, or Jasmine Kang is a 33 year old Indian origin woman who has made headlines in the case of murdering her very own flesh and blood in the West Midlands region of England and has been made to appear before a UK court for her crime. What makes matters worse is that the victim, Jaskirat’s daughter Shay Kang was merely 10 years old and had her whole life ahead of her.
Shay, in a tribute by her school was described as a ‘bright and fun-loving’ kid and was reportedly found been with heinous injuries at her home in Rowley Regis on Monday, being pronounced dead at the scene. This incident has brought great shock and sorrow not just to the local community and neighbourhood but to the whole nation as the news quickly gained traction and was covered by almost all media houses.
Detective Inspector Dan Jarratt said in a public statement that his and the department’s thoughts remain with Shay’s family and friends and that her tragic death has had a profound impact on those who knew her as well as the wider community. The detective then asked in a dignified manner to leave him and his team to grieve in private and also to let their enquiries continue, shedding light on the high level of importance they’re treating the case with.
As per the reports, Jasmime had been arrested from the house where her daughter’s body was found and a cordon has been put in place at the property on with a post-mortem is to be held in due course so as to establish the cause of death.
