The crimes in America show no signs of slowing down, and amidst all these encounters, there are people losing their lives. One such incident has occurred in Ohio, resulting in the death of a 21-year-old woman and her unborn child.
According to the statements of the police chief, a theft suspect had driven her car into one of his officers, prompting the officer to fire a single shot through the windshield.
This event raises questions about recent police activities in America, where either excessive force or uncontrolled firearms are used against the Black community or minorities, indicating potential discrimination.
The incident took place in the parking lot of a grocery store in Blendon, and the woman was accused of shoplifting. As the video narrates, one officer stood next to the vehicle, ordering the woman to exit. Another officer joined him, pointing a gun at the windshield and demanding her exit.
The whole incident lasted approximately 25 seconds, and after the firing, the woman was admitted to the hospital. Tragically, both she and her unborn baby lost their lives. As the family states, she was seven months pregnant.
Following the event, although the officer’s identity was not publicly disclosed, they were placed on administrative leave.
