A 26-year-old student from Telangana, Arun Sai Reddy Bollendula, passed away in the United States following a sudden medical emergency. Originally from Mahabubnagar district, he was living in Tampa, Florida, on STEM Optional Practical Training (OPT) while seeking full-time employment.
The tragedy occurred on June 19, 2026, when Arun Sai unexpectedly fell severely ill. He was rushed to a local hospital’s emergency unit, but despite medical efforts, his condition deteriorated rapidly, and he passed away while undergoing treatment.
Members of the local Telugu diaspora and NRI organizations in Florida are now supporting his family. They are coordinating with authorities and embassy officials to complete legal formalities and arrange the transport of his mortal remains back to India for final rites.
