Despite still holding his medical license, Singh is facing charges related to the sexual assault. The sheriff’s office reported that Singh inappropriately touched one of his employees at the Riverpointe Care Facility in Carmichael, where he served as the medical director.

The incident occurred in April, and Singh was apprehended over the weekend. The facility’s management is aware of the charges and has been cooperating with law enforcement authorities. Following the incident in April, Singh was removed from his position.

Interestingly, in California, the public does not have the right to be informed about ongoing investigations like these, which raises concerns among patients and compromises patient safety.

Singh was arrested at the San Francisco International Airport, although it remains unclear whether he was arriving or departing. Presently, he is out on bail, and his first court appearance is scheduled for August.
