UP65 is a new series releasing on 8th June on Jio Cinema, which claims to showcase a heartwarming and beautiful journey of students at IIT BHU. Is it actually true or makers are trying to ruin the image of Banaras Hindu University which is one of the most reputated universities in India. The series is based on a book by Nikhil Sachan with the same name.
Trailer which was released on 2nd of June, portrayed a group of students studying in IIT BHU. They are having their usual college days. But something is not right. While in one of the scenes one student claims Einstein to be a drinker. There are many instances where students are abusing each other. While these instances can be considered as a part of creative freedom, people have reacted to it with different opinions. A section of people who are well versed with the book by Nikhil Sachan, have praised the trailer and are looking forward to the series. And another group of people mainly BHU students, are not very pleased with the trailer. As it shows the prestigious college in a bad light.
This Jio Cinema series is also in talks with its rock version of famous bhojpuri song Lollipop Lagelu. Directed by Gaganjeet Singh, the cast includes Pritam Jaiswal, Rishabh Jaiswal, Satyam Tiwari and more. Now As the series is going to premier tomorrow on 8th of June.
