The first season of this show was goofy, silly yet such a fun watch with a hint of mystery. Apple TV drops the second season of their loved show Afterparty.
The direction of Afterparty is something worth mentioning along with the format of the series. Unlike the first season’s venture at a high school reunion, the second season reaches a wedding.
Season 1 impressed a lot of people and with the next installment, they are taking it to a whole new level. A couple of similar faces return, Aniq (Sam Richardson) and Zoë (Zoë Chao) are invited to a wedding. A murder at the wedding and they call their old friend Detective Danner.
Now she will dive into the case, in her own style while letting the suspects talk. Will make them enter their mind movies. Now about the mind movies, each episode consists of one mind movie and the fascinating part is, every episode adapts a different direction style. From retro movies to musicals, it adapts a whole range of styles and makes the experience magical.
