After 3 years of long wait, the highly anticipated second season of ‘Asur,’ starring Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti, is finally here! Fans have been eagerly waiting for this, and the show’s intriguing and unique plot has already generated a lot of excitement.
In the thrilling crime series on Jio Cinema, Arshad Warsi takes on the role of Dhananjay Rajpoot aka DJ, while Barun Sobti portrays the character of Nikhil Nair. Anupriya Goenka plays Naina Nair, and Ridhi Dogra captivates as Nusrat Saeed. Joining them are Amey Wagh as Rasool Shaikh and Vishesh Bansal as teenage Shubh Joshi.
While Asur season 1 revolved around Nikhil Nair, a former forensic expert turned teacher, who gets caught up in a string of brutal serial killings. Season 2 follows DJ and Nikhil. While dealing with their losses, they pick themselves up and get ready to save the people from Asur and his evil plans. Unlike last season, Asur 2 sees both forensic experts working towards a similar goal but on opposite paths.
