The trailer of one of the most awaited series “Bambai Meri Jaan” on Amazon Prime Video has just been released. Will the series be able to leave a lasting impression on fans or settle to become just another good OTT show?
The series starts with a few quick shots and then follows the story-driven characters, namely Dara Kadri played by Avinash Tiwary and his father Ismail Kadri played by Kay Kay Menon, who is a policeman. The story deals with a rugged father-son relationship where Dara chooses a violent path to become the biggest Don of Mumbai (formerly known as Bambai). The series follows his quest to make Bambai his Jaan.
Although the story seems terrific, there are a few noticeable issues in the trailer. The editing has the same slow-pacing issues as in Jawan. The trailer is full of impactful scenes but still fails to deliver a major hype moment that will be talked about. Nevertheless, we have faith in Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s project. “Bambai Meri Jaan,” directed by Shujaat Saudagar, will stream from September 14th, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
